Yahoo mail: does the forwarding feature add latency? How much?

I have a new domain and all it does is forward mail to my old one.

How can I really be sure that there is low/no latency in this approach? How can I get real metrics (any automated tests / benchmarks out there?). Are there any good resources out there on how to read a mail header? I use Yahoo web hosting, e-mail hosting and web-based e-mail reader.

Would like to help you out but really know so little about male headers. Have you checked out the Gay %26amp; Lesbian category?
