A domain name can have up to 59 characters. Domain names can only use letters, numbers, and hyphens (%26quot;-%26quot;). Spaces, punctuation marks, and other symbols are not allowed. A domain name cannot begin or end with a hyphen. IDN (International Domain Names) for .com, .info, .net, .org, .biz, .cc, .tv and .ws can contain d, v and | symbols.

Contact Awardspace.com%26#039;s technical support and ask them about it. The limitation could be on their end. Or they just set it up wrong.
