If i change webhosting server, what i have to do for PHPBB3 to be there in in new webserver?

i have my forum which is hosted by host nine web hosting server. if i want change to other webhosting, what i have do for all user database should not be changed.

can i copy the dir of forum and paste in other ftp server dir.

First, make sure that the new server has the same capabilities... same versions of PHP and MySQL and other features that might be needed, like various Apache settings.

Second, download/upload the files, paying special attention to any modifications you%26#039;ve made (themes, plug-ins, etc).

Third, backup the database (probably using phpMyAdmin if you%26#039;re on a shared host). Make sure to check the option to back up the SQL to a ZIP (compressed archive) file, or if your database is of any consequential size, you%26#039;ll have a HUGE file on your hands).

Fourth, use the cPanel utility on your new host to create a database for PHPBB3 if needed, change your configuration options to point to the new database and username and password, then import the ZIP file you saved in step three to your new database.

Download all the files and database from the current server using FTP / Control Panel. After downloading copy the entire downloaded files and database to the new server using FTP / Control Panel.
