I wanted to sell items online and was wondering what site is the best for web hosting . One that comes with a shopping cart , and checkout page. I already have a pay pal account so it would be nice if the site could use it so people could make payments right into my pay pal account . I%26#039;m new to this so i need a tool that will do the whole checkout for me . So when someone buys something , it emails me what they bought and if they paid . Please help !!
Webhosting for my Store?
Before settling with one of the sites that specialize in stores, I highly recommend having a look at Drupal, and it%26#039;s eCommerce add-in module. Both are free and can be installed on ANY web host that is based on the Apache/MySQL/PHP model (which is pretty much every shared host out there).
Not only will it work well with PayPal (and credit cards if you%26#039;ve got a business account), but you can mix and match payment methods ... money orders, checks, other transaction processors like Authorize.net and so on... because, in the long run, it%26#039;s a good thing not to put all your eggs in one basket, right?
Anyway back to Drupal. What other features do you get? An online catalog where you can offer real shippable products, downloadable products (eBooks, music files, etc), subscriptions to a members-only section of your site, bundles of products sold as a package. There%26#039;s even an option to hold auctions.
On top of that you%26#039;ve got the typical online store features like invoicing, shipping, inventory control, coupons, etc.

Note: If you%26#039;re going to give it a try, get the 5.x series... the add-in modules like eCommerce have not yet caught up with the very latest Drupal (6.0)
By the way I%26#039;m putting together a test group to run through a training course on building a site (and store) with Drupal, so anyone reading this who thinks it sounds interesting, feel free to get in touch.
Webhosting for my Store?
I use prostores. Go to http://www.prostores.com They are part of Ebay and Paypal. They have many levels to chose from to get you started. It is very easy to use too. Plus help is just a phone call away! Best of luck to you!!!!
Other Replys:Try this one.
Other Replys:If you are lost in the maze of starting your own business, then I would suggest going to http://www.make-money-easy.org , because the site gives detailed information as to how to go about it- starting from scratch. There is nothing you have to buy or pay for and you don%26#039;t even have to fall into the trap of providing an email address (only to get bombarded with sales emails later).
Other Replys:Try contacting My Webbie Hosting%26#039;s toll-free phone support. I believe they can host your website.
