My website disappeared?

I am using a free web hosting service, and my website doesn%26#039;t appear at all. I have never had any problems with them before, but now it is not there. When I log into my FTP ( I use Microsoft Expression ) it shows that both the online files and my files were unchanged. This is wierd.

My next stop is the help button on my hosting hompage, but I just wanted to ask here also.

My website disappeared?

They may have upgraded their servers, contact them directly and ask if they%26#039;ve done any backups and changes. Tell them you can%26#039;t access your page.

My website disappeared?

How do I count image views from my website?

Put a counter on the site. Find sources for free counters by doing a Goggle search.

Other Replys:You can obtain a web counter online and insert its coding into the HTML code of your index page, or whatever page you want to count. There are numerous counters available on the web, some free. One example is below

Good luck!

Other Replys:search google for web page counters they should give you a list

Other Replys:Hit counters often have bugs and contain lots of extra crappy code. For the best and most reliable results make your own with PHP, it%26#039;s fairly simple.

Can someone recommend me a mini pc?

I need the %26#039;pc%26#039; for web hosting (ie: my own webserver where I can host my sites using apache, php, mysql etc).

I need the pc to be able to run 24/7 with little or no noise. I need it to be small, preferably as small as possible (without compromising on heat dissipation though). The pc does not need to be powerful, entry level of slightly higher would do. A generous harddisk would be a bonus.

They are mostly found in Sim Lim....

How about a Shuttle? Do a barebones Shuttle with built-in graphics, then add one large hardrive and a DVD dual layer writer. You could always stick in a floppy drive too.

Ever published a website created in Microsoft FrontPage/Publisher ??

Here I mean a free hosting site. How did you do the publishing part after you have both created your website in FrontPage/Publisher and created an account at some free web host.. ??

Ever published a website created in Microsoft FrontPage/Publisher ??

If you use the actual frontpage program to upload to the free webhost then you need to ensure that the extensions are installed. Frontpage will allow you to upload to the server ify ou know all of the required information.

It is just easier for you to create the website in frontpage or publisher and then use the websites FTP upload utility. Ensure that you upload your images folder, etc... Also, you will probably have to replace the index.html or index.htm page the free web host might have provided already for you. The main page that users will go to will be your index page.

Usually, the free webhost will tell you how to upload your website. Also, if you are unfamiliar with frontpage or publisher, they have their own tools to create a website.

File %26gt; Publish site is what you use for frontpage but, ...like I said you have to know the FTP site, password, etc...

Good luck!

HOAX COMPANY - www.beterati.com?

DO NOT USE BETERATI (www.beterati.com) Sadly I am one of those early mugs that have been ripped off by them. I exchanged a number of emails with their customer service department because I felt weary of the payment methods. However, all of the responses seemed very profession. I then went ahead with the order, receieved payment instructions and once transfer was completed even received a payment received invoice and order update... BUT THAT WAS IT.... Nothing else and now no goods, no response to emails, impossible to leave testimonial feedback, the phone number doesnt work. A seperate email from a different user was sent to entice another sale...it got an immediate response bit then when approached about my outstanding order..once again NOTHING. So yep...the long and short im 鎷?000 out of pocket, no TV and a crap xmas coming my way. I have informed Western Union, The Web Hosting and Domain Hosting companies etc,

Thanks for the info. I and a lot of other people appreciate it.

What is a resolvable domain?

I was inquiring with my web hosting company. The plan I signed up for says I can host unlimited domains with this one account. The rep said yes %26quot;it will be a resolvable domain.%26quot;, when I asked about adding other sites.

What does this mean exactly?

What is a resolvable domain?

A name - any combniation of letters+digits+%26quot;-%26quot;, that points to a particular machine (IP) address. This information is held in DNS servers/computers. So if say, you type in yahoo.com, your computer looks up yahoo.com%26#039;s machine address (IP addess) on those DNS servers, and knows where the content - webpages/pictures etc. are stored. Sometimes a domain name is not configured correctly and is not set to point to any particular IP. That%26#039;s an unresolvable domain. In contrast, any domain going to an IP is resolvable.

p.s. It%26#039;s a lot more complicated than that, but I don%26#039;t think one needs to go into such detail :)

p.s.2. In your particular case, I would guess you can point an unlimited number of domains to your hosting space / to your server%26#039;s IP address. Each domain would go into a separate directory. Basically you would have a number of websites on the same hosting %26#039;puter / at the same price.

p.s. 3: The rep should have been more forthcoming to explain all that : ))

How is my site?

My website is http://cms07.org

We offer games, search engine, html basics, Headline News.

We will offer in the near future, free web hosting, free file hosting, free email.

How is it?

How is my site?

IT looks good to me. keep on making websites.

How is my site?

I%26#039;m not trying to ruin your day or anything, but for a web site that offers html basics, it%26#039;s not a very well-constructed site. Try having a graphical navigation.

Other Replys:The color contrast is kind of bad. I have a hard time reading the text on your site.

Other Replys:Not bad for a start.

The black text on red background is a little bit hard to read. I would probably do sold dark red background with white or bright red text (color code #FFDDDD).

I think the HTML Tutorial should be pulled from the site.

http://www.cms07.org/htmltutorial.html

Instead of a HTML tutorial menu, I would put a link to http://www.pagetutor.com/html_tutor/inde... or http://www.w3schools.com/html in the links section.

Other Replys:nice.... not complaining but a good css tut would be nice

haven%26#039;t yet found one just a suggestion
